Artist's Description
In all but winter, the Grand Prismatic Spring is a most colorful sight. In the winter, its colors are somewhat muted and, to varying extents, a cloud of fog hangs over the spring due to the low temperature dew point spread. This spring is located in the Midway Geyser Basin in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming.
