Description
I have always wanted to visit Yellowstone National Park in winter in hopes of capturing some bison braving the harsh winter conditions there. In January 2016, I was fortunate to be on such a trip with two close friends and fellow photographers. While the temperatures were downright cold - as in, the morning that we departed West Yellowstone to drive to the Tetons, it was -26 degrees. Llayering up did the trick, and we were off each day to shoot landscapes, geysers, and wildlife, which was abundant - bison, elk, wolves, coyotes, and even a bobcat that posed nicely for us. Taking snow coaches through the Park was a new adventure. The trip was nothing short of spectacular.
